The Maze Runner

"He began his new life standing up, surrounded by cold darkness and stale, dusty air."

And thus begins the adventure of Thomas, and that is all he knows for sure--that his name is Thomas. I recently read The Maze Runner and I have to say that I really liked it. No, I really liked The Hunger Games, I loved The Maze Runner. It was right down my ally. Mysterious, set in a world similar to ours, but somehow different. There was sci-fi action and adventure without any swearing (I guessed that the author was Mormon and it turned out I was right, CTR James Dashner!). It was Lord of the Flies but much cooler. I highly recommend it.

Also, James Dashner is going to be at Deseret Book on Tuesday signing copies of his new book The 13th Reality: The Blade of Shattered Hope, which I haven't read. Maybe I'll just show up and tell him how awesome TMR was.
